We start by filling out a brief Health History Form with attention to injuries, surgeries and wellness goals. We ask to see movement and posture. After our intake we will introduce you to the Pilates System or the Mindful Movement of your choice.
We recommend to wear clothing that is comfortable to inspire movement. Please wear socks that have a grip or no socks. The use of tea tree oil between clients is to insure proper cleanliness! Bring your water bottle!
Ater the session payment is expected, you decide to pay per session or by the week or month. Each client is different in the frequency of their appointments, We recommend to book in advance to assure availability..
Cash or checks please no C/C.
We end each session with an opportunity to make another appt, A lot of our clients book their time slots each week or monthly in advance this assures their session time. Payment is either paid at that time or "checking in" with previous payment.

Privacy!!! Our #1 obligation to you as our client is to have your privacy. Your session is generally "private" except for the respectful transfer of clients. Your session begins with addressing the Pilates Method of Movement after a brief mention of how your body has been feeling, this is for your individual programming! Immediately, after your session you'll feel taller, hopefully with better posture!!! Within 24 to 48hrs your body will feel deep muscles in your Core that you may not have felt before. If experiencing discomfort at anytime please just please call or text so as we can address it.
Parking has always been an issue in our little Town. The solution are meters to keep traffic flowing. Meters have a free play for 30min & a quarter per hour from 8am to 5pm..free after! Usually not much of a problem, only Weekend Beach Days..however we keep a watchful eye to press your free play...Parking can be optained in the HML Lot across from the delicious Bread Shop at the corner of Water St & Nantasket Ave. with a prepaid sticker for Hull Residents. We try to make every attempt to ensure your visit is stress free!!! In a bind, we have quarters available for you!!!
I started training with Mary in 2008, at this time I decided to get more into serious training, which included reclaiming my Core stability and strength..like most women, those childbearing yrs weaken both!! Almost immediately I noticed how my weekly sessions reconnected my mind to my body. Pilates addressed several postural challenges, as well as old sports injuries. Pilates is an integral part of my cardio from being on a Women's Field Hockey Team and heavy weight training in my 50's! I am so convinced my Core strength & stability is from Pilates..that I am NOW after a long apprenticeship and becoming PMA Certified, taking client appointments to teach this unique progressive system!!!
When I turned 60, I realized as we get older we do not get more flexibile and chances are medical issues will arise. I started Pilates 8 yrs ago hoping to gain flexibility and strength. Now I look forward to Pilates as I know my core and flexibility will be maintained and improved. Mary is a great coach...very knowledgeable & compassionate person and friend.

I've been training with Mary for approx. 10yrs. now! I started with a small group session with 3 women my age. I needed to focus more on my core strengh due to my knees!! My first knee surgery was at 18yrs old which had impacted my whole life, my balance & alignment were off. After the last surgery, I moved to private sessions, thanks to Mary 's very caring guidance, I am strong and have the confidence in my strength. I could never of accomplished this without her!
Mary Delmonico has been an instrumental force in my Pilates training and managing my scoliosis condition. Under Mary's instruction, I've gained flexibility, strength, lean and tone muscles, plus a stronger core that has improved my posture!
I have reduced back pain and have developed an awareness of how postural alignment can elongate my my spine for longer activity!!! The breathing exercises have definetly reduced the compression that I once felt in my spine. Lastly, I love that she trained with a student of Joseph Pilates, the founder of this incredible movement!!!
For at least 25 yrs, Mary has been able to tailor each Pilates session for this 86 year old body! She has given me the ability to maintain an unbelievable strong core and the awareness of my alignment, which has allowed me to play golf.. almost everyday, pickle ball, and to enjoy projects around my home with no restrictions!!!

Shortly after my bilateral mastectomies and reconstruction of my upper back muscles, I started with Mary Delmonico at Core Studio. It has been over ten years now and at the age 69, Pilates is still a key component of my wellness. I feel upright, strong and pain free..Life is good with Pilates!
For over 20 years, Mary has been my Personal Trainer. During the past 5yrs, our focus has been on Pilates, which Mary teaches at Core Studio in her state-of-art facility.
